## Purpose

SML x402 helps autonomous agents, developers, and API providers discover and evaluate x402-compatible services. It is designed for live operational evidence rather than a static or pay-to-rank catalog.

## Data policy

- A provider route is shown only after a current public response.
- An HTTP 402 response is treated as live payment-gate evidence, not an error.
- Unknown price, volume, latency, and health data remain unknown; they are never fabricated.
- SML products are held to the same live-evidence standard as every other route.
- Voluntary human support never affects provider inclusion, ranking, pricing, health, or evidence.

## Safety boundaries

The terminal never asks for or transmits an agent wallet credential, private key, or payment authorization. A route test sends a public request only. Agents must independently inspect payment terms, sign their own authorization, and retry directly with the provider.
